So, so good. It is our first experience with Nigerian cuisine and I am hooked. My daughter and I both loved it. We ordered the famous fufu and a nice assortment of stews and rice. We took it to go because we had to drive back to Northern California.... and when we pulled off the I-5 to eat the food a couple of hours later, it was still piping hot!! My only regret is that you don't have a Northern California location. Open it up, and we will be regulars. Also -- thank you for your warm hospitality.

Veronica your food is amazing. Its hands down a great Nigerian menu. We ended up getting the fufu with the beef egusi. Which does not disappoint. You MUST try it because it it worth the hype!! The establishment itself is very small on the inside, so be prepared to take your items home. The food is pipping hot and ready to eat as soon as you get out of the car LOL. Its super duper delicious!! Our only complaint is: Your order system really needs to improve. This is twice we've come and you cannot find our order. To top it off, we waited an additional 1 hour for our food to be ready - Its very unacceptable!!! We understand the volume of orders and running a small business, but make sure to please emphasize that our order will not be ready and to come in 2 hours. Other than that, THE FOOD SPEAKS FOR ITSELF!! You have to try what she has to offer!! The cook is amazing and the food is too!! Sorry no pictures, we rushed home and gobbled it up LOL

My first time have Nigerian food and it was perfect beyond my expectation. The service kind of slow but very nice greeting and very helpful. Inside when you walk in, you feel like you've been invited to someone house, which is Cozy and welcome

Authentic Nigerian home cooking, close to LAX. The menu is varied, including regional dishes served in family style portions. Prices may seem high, but dishes feed 3-4 people. The interior is casual and simply decorated, with a small amount of seating. They serve Nigerian beer and wine. I knew I had made a good choice when the other patrons dining at Veronica's informed me that they are Nigerian. As I waited for my takeout order, we chatted about popular Nigerian dishes and how to eat them, which I appreciated, since this was my first time trying the cuisine. To be honest, I had ordered without knowing what I was getting lol. I was happy to have made some friends to talk with, since I waited 45 minutes for my takeout order, despite the restaurant not being busy. I ended up with Edikaikong, a spicy and healthy Nigerian classic with flavorful greens and big hunks of preserved fish. I loved the greens, which I enjoyed with the firm, creamy mashed potato-esque fufu. The fish was way too salty for me; I will ask for an entirely vegetarian dish next time. I also enjoyed the Nigerian beer, which reminded me of Coors Banquet.

Amazing food and service at Veronica's Kitchen. The owner and chef, Veronica is a real life Nigerian Chief! She is a humble, welcoming, and talented chef and leader! I've had both take out and dine-in meals here. The fufu is outstanding. The egusi is mind blowing! We've ordered just about everything on the menu and loved it all! The staff is hard working and super friendly. Best Nigerian food outside of Nigeria! Promise!

So this spot just opened two weeks ago on Manchester so I've had Veronica's kitchen before when she was in Inglewood but now she's on Manchester let me tell you when I say delicious. I know I love fufu but I haven't had it in a long time because you know it on the heavy side, but oh my God this food is so so so good . The only this is the wait was long but worth it , just enjoy a drink while you wait .

Veronica's Kitchen has some of the best jollof rice and egusi soup! The dishes are super flavorful and spice-heavy. The portions are very large and shareable, me and my boyfriend would have been full off of just the egusi and two swallows. The interior is clean, and the service is friendly. Be prepared to wait around 45 minutes for your food though, so don't arrive starving! I would recommend getting the goat over the beef. The beef chunks we had in the egusi were too tough to eat.
